| April 02, 2007 | | April 3 & 4, 2007, Vilar Center, 7.30pm | Musical group, STOMP, is taking its sounds to the Vilar Center on April 3rd & 4th (2007)! What makes this UK group's performance unusual is that the group creates symphony with everyday objects such as trashcans. Using them in non-traditional ways, they create a movement of bodies, objects and sounds. The group will give two performances at Beaver Creek's Vilar Center for the Arts on April 3rd (Tuesday) and 4th (Wednesday). Both performances begin at 7.30pm. Don't miss this opportunity to experience the extraordinary in a flurry of everyday sounds and sights -- brooms, trashcans, drumsticks, matches! -- as the cast of STOMP creates an alternate universe where anything and everything is a prop. For ticketing information, please visit the Vilar Center's website. Credit to STOMP and Vilar Center for the Arts for the above information. | | | |
