Vail Recreation District opens a new Imagination Station

The Vail Recreation District is ready to open its doors to a new and improved Imagination Station.  Imagination station is kicking off its 3^rd year with a number of improvements for the 2007/08 winter season on Thursday, November 27^th.  Parents can enjoy the Vail Valley while their children can play and learn in an interactive environment.  Imagination Station is a museum for children age 2 through 12.  The upcoming winter season will offer children and parents a chance to…meet a new mascot who will welcome them into the station; create sand paintings; play with additional nooks and walls with more activities; and engage in new spinning activities.

The Imagination Station is located above the Subway in the Lionshead parking structure.  The station will be open Sunday-Friday from 10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. throughout the ski season.  For more information on the Vail Recreation District Youth Services visit www.vailrec.com.
