| November 26, 2007 | | A celebration to welcome the winter on and off the mountain | Keystone Ski Resort welcomes the 2007-2008 winter season with 36 hours of Keystone. At 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30th Keystone will run lifts for 36 hours for non-stop skiing and riding through 9:00p.m., Saturday, December 1st. Keystone offers plenty to do both on and off the mountain. Keystone’s bars and restaurants will stay open for 36 hours, and bands will rock around the clock to join in on Keystone’s snow is back celebration. This is an opportunity to enjoy the mountain at irregular hours.
This year Keystone will offer a new activity off the mountain called 36 hours of Guitar Hero. A gaming tent will be placed in River Run Village featuring Activision’s “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.” The tent will include 6-8 gaming stations. One of these stations will be reserved for the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock contest, which will give players a chance to win a number of cool prizes.
Keystone also offers a new contest on the mountain for 2007. Keystone rewards 1st-3rd place for the Team Challenge. Teams of two, three and four will try to complete one lap every hour for a total of 36 runs. Those who succeed will be put in a drawing to win a cash prize. Lodging on 11/30/07 in River Run at Keystone is required to compete in the Team Challenge.
Welcome the winter with 36 hours of Keystone this weekend!
