Breckenridge Set to Open 1700 Acres by this Weekend

Breckenridge Ski Resort will open two new peaks this week!

Breckenridge plans to open Peak 7 on Friday, December 14, and Peak 10 on Saturday, December 15. Skiers and riders will now be able to access Independence SuperChair and explore the terrain on lower Peak 7. On Saturday, skiers and riders will have access to the Falcon SuperChair, which will open new terrain on Peak 10. Breckenridge will offer almost 1700 acres of terrain by this weekend.

Don’t forget the US Snowboard Grand Prix takes place this weekend in Breckenridge’s notorious halfpipe. Finals are at noon in the Freeway Pipe located at Peak 8.

Adult ticket prices for Saturday, December 15 will be $86 per day and $45 for children under the age of 12.
