| May 21, 2008 | | Vail Recreation District announces the schedule for summer 08. | Pre-registration for individual and series races is currently underway for all experience levels, age eight and older. Discounts are extended to those racers signing up prior to May 23. The six-race series dates are as follows:
May 28: Eagle Ranch Classic, Eagle Ranch business district in Eagle
June 18: Mike Janelle Memorial Race, Berry Creek U.S. Forest Service Road in Edwards
June 25: 25th Anniversary Davos Dash, Holiday Inn in West Vail
July 9: Camp Hale, Camp Hale base area near Red Cliff
July 23: Vail Grind, Gold Peak base area on Vail Mountain
Aug. 6: Beaver Creek Blast, Centennial chairlift at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain
This summer’s series marks the 25th anniversary of mountain bike racing in the Vail Valley.
