| July 29, 2008 | | Registration ends August 1st | The Vail Recreation District's fall youth soccer registration is underway until Friday (8-1). Age groups range from four to nine, effective July 31, 2008, and teams are coordinated geographically via residence and where players attend school.
The youth soccer program's three groups are as follows (practice schedules subject to change):
- Micro Soccer, ages four to five, practice 9 to 10 a.m. Saturdays in Eagle Vail from Sept. 6 to Oct. 25. Cost is $48.
- U8 Soccer, ages six to seven, practice Tuesdays and Thursdays in Vail and Edwards with Saturday games from Sept. 2 to Oct. 25. Cost is $58.
- U10 Soccer, ages eight to nine, practice Mondays and Wednesdays in Edwards with Saturday games from Sept. 3 to Oct. 25. Cost is $68.
Additionally, the VRD is seeking volunteer coaches and referees. Fees are waived for children whose parents volunteer.
The fall youth soccer program is sponsored by the Vail Daily, Plum TV, KidSPORT, Vail Sports Medicine Physical Therapy and American National Bank.
