OktoberFest in August on Beaver Creek’s Plaza

Fun for the whole family - Beer garden and restaurants with outside dining, kids activities, culinary demonstration, costume contest and great music.

Save the dates for August 30-31, 2008 from 11:00am - 6:00pm.

Beaver Creek's annual Oktoberfest returns with foot stompin' oom-pah-pah music, unbeatable beer, and wunderbar wurst! Enjoy live entertainment featuring Helmut Fricker and "Trachtenkappelle," a visiting band from Beaver Creek's Sister Resort--Lech Zurs, Austria. Also, don't miss the LA Allstars.

Don't forget to participate in the 2nd annual Oktoberfest Shuffle. Walk, hike, or run over a 6 km or 10 km scenic trail on Beaver Creek Mountain. All proceeds of the race will go to benefit the Shaw Regional Cancer Center.

Daily Events
Food booths and Bier Garten in the Plaza
Live music on the outdoor concert stage
Complimentary kids activities including an interactive kid's stage with the Children's Theatre
Complimentary culinary demonstrations

Saturday, 3:00pm- Alpenhorn Contest
Children and adults can test their lungs and musical talents on the European Alpenhorn. The best adult and child win!

Saturday, 4:00pm- Costume Contest
Dress up and win prizes! Contestants will be judged on authenticity and completeness of their costume (hat, shoes, socks, etc).

So bring you family and friends to Beaver Creek Village and experience the wonderful mountain views, food and music of Octoberfest.
