Whether you're interested in ice hockey, figure skating or broomball there's a lesson, session or league that's right for you.
Considered to be one of the largest ice venues in western Colorado, visitors or those new to skating will have no problem learning the sport with its in-house rental program and instruction, as well as an on-site skate sharpening shop.
In addition to its public programming, Dobson Arena has become a favorite training location for National Hockey League teams including, St. Louis Blues, Dallas Stars, Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils and the Florida Panthers. Locally, Dobson is home to the Vail Eagle Hockey Association and Skating Club of Vail. Dobson also has hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year including the likes of The Frey and Ziggy Marley.

Adult Hockey Clinic, 6 to 9:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, Aug. 25-28
One hour skating, one hour stick handling and one hour of drills Monday through Wednesday, plus a scrimmage on Thursday.
VRD Fall Adult League Begins Sept. 8
Men and women, all skill levels.
