Vail Golf Club Offers Great Fall Pricing
With leaves starting to peak in color, golfers will not only enjoy amazing scenery, but also some of the best rates in the Vail Valley. Play 18 holes for $64 or nine holes for $42, including cart. Those wishing to walk the course can play 18 holes for $45 or nine holes for $30. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., twilight rates are in effect with play available for $42, including cart. The Vail Golf Club is scheduled to close for the 2008 season in late October, depending on the weather.
Aerification Work Continues, Golf Club Closed Oct. 6
Aerification work continues to take place at the Vail Golf Club. Golfers will experience limited impacts Sept. 29-30 during tee box aerification and the Golf Club will be closed Monday, Oct. 6 for additional work, weather permitting. Only nine holes of play will be available Oct. 7-8. All 18 holes will reopen for play Oct. 10.
Golf Course Pro Shop
The Pro Shop is open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily and is currently offering 25 percent off selected items.
Driving Range
The driving range is open from 8 a.m. to dusk with the exception of Wednesday when it closes at 5 p.m.
Clinics and Lessons
Ladies' Clinic, 5:15 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26
These weekly classes are limited to 16 women and offer a variety of instruction including short and long game, equipment needs and course management.
Coors Coaching Hour, 6:30 p.m. to Dusk., Friday, Sept. 26
This weekly program is limited to 25 people and includes unlimited range balls, two drink tickets and instruction from the Vail Golf Club professional staff.
League Play Ends For Season
All league play has ended for the season. The Golf Club looks forward to another great season of league play beginning next spring.
The Vail Golf Club, which is operated by the Vail Recreation District, is nestled at the base of the Gore Mountain Range and presents golfers with a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience at 8,200 feet elevation. The golf club is open to the public and offers a full service golf shop, group and corporate outings, professional instruction, launch monitor, driving range, practice area, club storage, golf swing analysis, club rentals, demo days and an on-site restaurant, Happy Valley Grill.
