In addition, the Vail Golf Club is offering some of the best rates in the valley featuring 18 holes for $64 or nine holes for $42, including cart. Those wishing to walk the course can play 18 holes for $45 or nine holes for $30. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., twilight rates are in effect with play available for $42, including Gore Fall Shotscart. Vail Golf Club Closed Oct. 6 for Aeration The Vail Golf Club will be closed Monday, Oct. 6 for aeration work and only nine holes of play will be available Oct. 7-8. Driving Range Opens at 10 a.m.to Dusk Early morning frost is requiring the driving range to open at 10 a.m. to allow for thawing. The driving range closes at dusk.
The Vail Golf Club will host Sarro's Revenge Golf Tournament beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10. This new two-person scramble will include a modified course designed by Vail Golf Club Superintendent Steve Sarro. Sarro will challenge golfers with different tee box and green orientations that will be considered more difficult than the current course set up. Cost is $75 per person and will include cart, food, drinks and prizes. This informal, fun-filled tournament is a great opportunity to play fall golf while testing your skills. The Vail Golf Club, which is operated by the Vail Recreation District, is nestled at the base of the Gore Mountain Range and presents golfers with a unique 18-hole, par 71 experience at 8,200 feet elevation.
