| October 08, 2008 | | Check out their new tots program or the new gymnastics/martial arts combo class | The Vail Gymnastics Center will be offering additional classes to meet the demand of participants during its second fall session beginning Oct. 27. Registration for all scheduled classes is underway and includes Toddler, Rockin' and Super Bears and Super Tots for preschool-aged children; Pre-Team for ages six to nine; EAGLES and USAG Teams for ages seven and older; and girl's and boy's levels one and two and girl's level three for ages six and older.
Additionally, the Gymnastics Center has introduced a new combination class that features 45 minutes of gymnastics followed by 45 minutes of martial arts from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Mondays. The combination class is a perfect after school program for children in grades kindergarten through fifth featuring gymnastics and trampoline activities followed by basic martial arts techniques taught by Vail Academy of Martial Arts instructor Master Mathew Bailey. Cost is $128 per child, per eight-week session.
Also new this fall, the addition of Super Tots gymnastics for ages three and four. This new program allows children an opportunity to develop balance and coordination through the use of shape courses, swinging and bouncing areas. Children must have their third birthday prior to class registration. Classes take place from 1:45 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays; 11:15 a.m. to noon Tuesdays and Fridays; and 10:15 to 11 a.m. Thursdays. Cost is $85 per child, per eight-week session.
The Vail Gymnastics Center continues to offer open gym and trampoline classes from 8 to 9 p.m. on Monday and 7 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday for those 18 years and older. The Gymnastics Center also is the perfect venue to host a birthday party offering rentals beginning at $125.
