Vail Golf Club Pro Shop to close Oct. 31 for season

Unattended play available beginning Nov. 1, weather permitting
The Vail Recreation District (VRD) will close the Vail Golf Club driving range Thursday (10-30) and the Pro Shop and starter house on Friday (10-31) to begin preparations for Vail Nordic Center programming. As a thank you for a great season, beginning Nov. 1, golfers will have an opportunity to continue unattended play and walk the course with holes 1 and 2, 8 through 12 and 16 through 18 available for play, depending on the weather.

Great end-of-season rates are available through Friday including walking nine holes for $30 and 18 for $45. Carts are no longer allowed on the course. The Pro Shop will remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday and is offering up to 40 percent off on a variety of its inventory including shoes, clubs, luggage and more. Rental club sets are available for $389, a discount of nearly $1,000.
