Vail Recreation District Hosts Santa’s Workshop Thursday, Dec. 18th

Holiday Events for the Entire Family

The Vail Recreation District (VRD) will offer its annual Santa's Workshop for children from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday (12-18) at the Imagination Station in the LionsHead parking structure. The workshop is free for children ages two to 10 and their families and will include Santa's Workshop pictures with Santa, children's gift making, holiday treat making, free hot chocolate and apple cider and more. Pet owners also can bring their pets and have photos taken with Santa during the workshops.

Holiday Events for the Entire Family
In addition to the Santa's Workshop, many other holiday events and activities are taking place at VRD facilities, including:

    * Skate with Santa, 5:45 p.m. Dec. 22-23 at Dobson Ice Arena. Call 479-2271 for details.
    * Chanukah on Ice, 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 24 at Dobson Ice Arena. Call 476-7887 for details.
    * Society of Superheroes on Ice, an ice skating extravaganza beginning at 6 p.m. Dec. 27-28 at Dobson Ice Arena. Costs is $7 for children and $15 for adults. Call 479-2271 for details.
