Check Out Colorado Freeride Championships in Snowmass

When: February 27-March 1, 2009

The Colorado Freeride Championships (CFC) consists of entry-level events and the Championships for skiers and snowboarders, February 27 - March 1, 2009. This event takes place on the cliff-littered terrain of Snowmass.

The snow was just in time for our upcoming event this weekend – The Helly Hansen Colorado Freeride Championships in Snowmass! This event is open to skiers and snowboarders, men & women. Friday is the qualifying day held in Hanging Valley Head Wall. Qualifiers who make it to the next round will then pick their line within the Burn Side Cliffs on Saturday. Viewing for this event is possible on both days. Friday’s viewing is best within the Hanging Valley and Saturday’s viewing is best from the deck of Gwen’s Restaurant. (although you may want to bring binoculars on Saturday!)

Don’t Forget…
Bud Light Big Air Friday’s will also continue this Friday with competition from 2-3pm on Fanny Hill, followed by a live performance with Brad Manosevitz and the Turrettes in Base Village from 3-4:30. The Friday celebration is topped off with fireworks at 7pm.
