Kids Easter Party Weekend at Breckenridge Ski Resort

Saturday and Sunday: April 11 - 12, 2009

The SnowActive Kid's Weekend is full of FREE "fun-tastic" snow adventures catering to guests tall and small including interactive escapades that will make for a family affair you won't forget! Special weekend activities include an Interactive Kid's Village at the base of Peak 8 all weekend, Mini Snow Sculpting Challenge, "Egg"cellent Easter Egg Hunt at the Kid's Tent and Ripperoo will also be hosting a Mini World Cup on Swinger! With Easter bunny appearances on Peaks 8 & 9!

10 am – 4 pm - SnowActive Kid’s Activities
Location: Kids Tent, Base of Peak 8
**Parents must stay with child for duration of event**

Snow painting & snow play, Egg photo frame magnet making, Snowshoe obstacle course, Decorating sun visors and more!
SUNDAY ONLY: Egg Hunt every hour on the hour, with visits from the Easter Bunny!

10 am –3 pm - Ripperoo’s Mini World Cup – FREE! Location: Swinger, Peak 8
At this fun race, everyone’s a winner! Just show up at the start gate at any time throughout the day, fill out the registration form, RACE and win a special something from Ripperoo! For kids of all ages who can ski or snowboard. Lift ticket required. *Parents must sign waiver for children under 18.

SATURDAY APRIL 11th
11am-1pm - Avalanche Dog Expo

Meet and greet the Breckenridge Avalanche Rescue Dogs! There will be obedience demonstrations and Avalanche Dog Drills led by the Breckenridge Ski Patrol. Photo opportunities with the dogs will be available. Go to the Top of the Colorado Chair, and then follow the signs.

SUNDAY APRIL 12th
6:00am - Sunrise Easter Service – New Location: Peak 9

Load Quicksilver Super6 at 6:00a. No ski equipment will be allowed up the chair. Dress warmly for the chair ride and be a part of this service; coffee and pastries will be available for purchase on location at Ten Mile Station.

10am-3pm - Seven’s Easter Brunch
If you haven't had the chance to check out Breckenridge Ski Resorts newest addition, Easter is the perfect excuse! Located at the new base of Peak 7, Seven's Restaurant will be hosting an Easter Brunch from 10am-3pm with a special brunch menu. No reservations required.

10am-4pm –
Face Painting with Suz-Qz the Clown

Suz-QZ the clown will be doing face painting and creating balloon animals next to the kids’ tent!
