AVON HOSTS LARGEST EGG HUNT IN THE VALLEY!

Avon Egg Hunt Saturday April 11, 2009

The Town of Avon is hosting its Annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in Harry A. Nottingham Park. Last year over 2,000 kids joined in the fun and festivities. The event begins at 10:00 a.m. with an appearance by the Avon Bunny. Families can enjoy many activities including Giant Egg Racing, inflatable obstacle course, carnival games, and don't forget the Jelly Bean Guessing contest presented by Wishes Toy Store. There will also be a Petting Zoo, refreshments and of course, the hunt for over 10,000 eggs stuffed with candy and prizes!

Children can color the event advertisement in the Vail Daily and turn it in at the event to be entered into a coloring contest to win a Paddleboat Punch Card for a fantastic summer of paddle boating on Nottingham Lake.

Please do not bring your pets to the event. This event is for children ages 9 and under.
