Celebrate the biggest of mountain sport, soul and culture once again in Vail when The Teva Mountain Games returns June 4-7, 2009.
Professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes from the Vail Valley and around the world will converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in seven sports and 21 disciplines including: x-country, freeride, slopestyle and road cycling, freestyle, 8-Ball, sprint and extreme kayaking, raft paddlecross, World Cup bouldering, as well as trail and road running, and the GNC Ultimate Mountain Challenge.
The Teva Mountain Games will also include a mountain photography competition, adventure film school, film festival, an interactive exhibition and demo area, live music, and mountain lifestyle parties.
The Teva Mountain Games are a Project of the Vail Valley Foundation.

Taking their name from a little known Australian beach where they grew up, Tamarama's Jay Lyon and Nicolas "Pottsy" Potts have nurtured a sound reflecting life on the shores of OZ. With a mix of folk, rock and reggae rhythms, breezy melodies and easy going lyrics, the duo's music represents the tranquility of ocean living.

The Los Angeles-based freestyle hip hop pioneer Aceyalone has produced nine solo albums since 1995 and has launched a global underground buzz with nearly 50 appearances on other artists’ works. Aceyalone’s newest effort, The Lonely Ones was released in March 2009, and critics are hailing his risk taking and unparalleled creativity. Aceyalone weaves funk, soul, doo-wop and swing into his one-of-a-kind lyricism. What comes out of it is fresh hip hop that never gets old.
