| November 23, 2007 | | Get ready to enjoy the Rocky Mountains in your skis or snowshoes | The Vail Recreation District’s Nordic Center pro shop is now open for business! It is time to grab your skis or snowshoes and plan for another great winter of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The Nordic Center supplies all skiers with retail, cross-country, snowshoe, soft goods, and season pass sales for the 2007-08 winter season. The 2007-08 season marks the Vail Nordic Center’s 25th year, offering skiers and snowshoers guided nature tours along 27 kilometers of daily-groomed trails. This year the Nordic Center plans on conducting lessons through a qualified teaching staff.
The Vail Nordic Center is located at the Vail Golf Club and is open daily from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. For information about fees or lessons visit www.vailnordiccenter.com.
