2008 American Ski Classic takes place March 26-30 on Vail Mountain

In its 26th year, the American Ski Classic is the oldest and largest skiing competition and festival of its kind in North America.

Skiing legends, sports and entertainment celebrities and corporate America join together on the slopes of Vail Mountain during the 2008 celebration of the American Ski Classic presented by Korbel California Champagne, March 26-30. This event combines the excitement of both professional and amateur ski racing with a variety of entertainment options for fans of all ages.  In addition to the racing action, the American Ski Classic also features a festive social schedule, including the Mountains of Hope benefit dinner and auction to benefit the Vail Valley Foundation's educational initiatives and the Legends of Skiing Banquet.

All races are held at Golden Peak in Vail and are free for spectators with autograph opportunities.

Wednesday, March 26:
5:30pm – New York Stock Exchange Legends Giant Slalom
6pm – The Radiators in Concert – free show at Golden Peak!
