| May 15, 2008 | | Registration is underway for the Vail Recreation District’s (VRD) Summer Sand Volleyball League | Team play begins June 9 for doubles and four player men’s, women’s and adult co-ed teams, plus a four-person division for ages 18 or younger. Games will be played starting at 6 p.m. Monday nights throughout the summer. Finals will begin July 28.
Cost is $50 for doubles and $75 for a team of four.
Vail’s sand volleyball courts are located adjacent to the Ford Park soccer fields, and are considered to be some of the best in the state and are also home to the King of the Mountain Volleyball Tournament being held June 13-15.
