Join the Aspen/Snowmass community in a celebration of seven local athletes who are competing in 2010 Vancouver Olympics!

Today at 5 pm - Gondola Plaza, Aspen Mountain

We're planning to send them up north in style with a community-wide celebration of their achievements! Join us for music, hot chocolate and cider, and presentations from Aspen/Snowmass and Aspen Mayor Mick Irelend.

Appearances by Gretchen Bleiler, Chris Klug, Alice McKennis and Casey Puckett.

The Olympic competitors:

Chris Klug - U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team
Alice McKennis - U.S. Alpine Olympic Team, Women's Downhill
Casey Puckett - U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, Freestyle Skiing Skicross
Jeremy Abbott - U.S. Figure Skating Team
Simi Hamilton - U.S. Cross Country Ski Team
Jake Zamansky - U.S. Alpine Olympic Team, Men's Giant Slalom
